here is the great release 70.
. It's back to stable on all supported plateforms.
. It does it's best to work resonably with all high end browsers.
. I'm happy with the general design of all currently available applications,
so it should upgrade very smoothly all the year long.
. I contains the new smart and secured RPC mechanism.
As a result, it is a very good start point for the new documentation.
The two still missing part in the current code are:
. Native zlib port (so that we can use it under Win32 at last)
. Database custering
also none of these will impact the current design so they can be added at
any point without troubles.
Then the desktop applications (Spreadsheet, end user database, and Word processor)
will be added, all working with HTML as native file format, but since they
will simply be new Pliant applications, again, there should be no impact on
the existing code.
Everything is in place for 2002 to be a great Pliant year !
