|After many monthes of hard work, here is Pliant release 97.
It is very novative because it introduces the Pliant UI as the main Pliant
user interface, and the Pliant storage system.
The UI is roughly working, and the storage system is far from complete.
The Pliant HTTP proxy which is responsible for translating Pliant UI protocol
Finaly, expect release 97 packaging to be still rough: it's for the braves.
There are three ways to run Pliant release 97:
1) Download pliant-97.zip
2) Unzip it at c:\
3) Double clic the fullpliant executable in the c:\pliant\
Be patient: nothing will append more than a minute before the UI console
1) Download pliant-97.tgz
2) Untar it at /
3) run /pliant/fullpliant
As a standalone operating system:
1) Download fullpliant-97.gz
2) Ungzip it through something like gzip -d /tmp/fullpliant-97.gz
3) Copy it to an USB key through something like dd if=/tmp/fullpliant-97 of=/dev/sdX
(where sdX is the device of a 128 MB or more USB key. Please be carefull
because if sdX was in fact one of your hard disks, then all your datas
will be destroyed. You've been warned)
4) Boot from the USB key
