|These are the new features or improvments in release 21
- More powerfull command line options (added the 'precompile' option, and the
ability to use options in the first line of an executable file)
- Compile errors position report is now more accurate
- Added SMTP client, SMTP server, POP3 client and POP3 server. As a result,
Pliant now contains a mail server, and Pliant programs can very easily send
or retrieve messages from any mail server.
- The accounting mecanism now uses a Pliant program to fill the accounts database
rather than a static file.
- The accounting mecanism has been refined (better handling of multiple definitions
and access rights levels).
- The documentation server lauching script is now more powerfull: it will scan TCP
ports until it finds a free one and will launch Netscape automaticaly.

|There is a small bug :
the file /pliant/module/protocol/pliant_web_site.p (if I well remember the name)
is missing from the RPM. Hence, doc-server refuses to execute.

|I have renamed pliant_web_site.p as forum.p ... and forgot to update
the doc server script.
The first line of the /pliant/doc-server script should be:
#!/bin/pliant precompile doc-server module /pliant/protocol/forum.p

I decided yesterday to try Release 21 of Pliant, also had trouble with the
doc-server (it's great to see that's simply fixed), but I had one other minor
quibble with installation.
chmod a+xr /usr/local/pliant/c_source/include/
chmod a+xr /usr/local/pliant/c_source/dll/
These commands were necessary to be able to read these directories as a normal
user. Not terribly dramatic. Those were the only two nits I encountered so far.
I'll let you know if any other problems arise.
