Information in data form gets lost
|Message posted by maybe Marcus Vinicius on 2002/04/16 14:41:03
|This message is part a suggestion and part a question. The suggestion first: in
the pliant forums, I've noticed that once I have typed my message and am
previewing it, if I want to go back to change it, all message is
lost, i.e., blank message fields are presented. It would be interesting
to be able to go back and reedit the message before posting it.
The question: suppose one has implemented an application that prompts the user
for some input (in a data form, e.g.), then presents, on another page a button
asking him/her to save the data. If the user wants to go back and change some
of the fields in the form, how to go back and show the data initially typed?

|There is already an 'Edit again' button in my tree that solves the problem
with 'good' browsers such as Mozilla.

|How can we harvest this tasty fruit from the tree? First, where is the tree? :-)

|I'm completely lost with patches at the moment, mainly due to the lack
of permanent Internet connection.
All I will be abble to do is build a bulk new realease.
Really bad indeed.
