Propagation of costumized style to dynamically created pages
|Message posted by maybe Marcus on 2002/11/08 18:44:58
|The code below illustrates that my costumized style is not propagating to the
dynamically created pages. Why?

|Because I have a bug in 'button_expression' function in module

|The problem might be solved in the Pliant 78 pre-release 4 I've just uploaded
Also be awared that I've applied significant changes recently in order to prepare
the logical servers support, so you'd better make a backup of your Pliant tree
including your Pliant databases before trying the new one.

|Is prerelease4 Windows compatible ?
When I tried to install I get the message :
"programme trop grand pour entrer en mémoire"
for the 3 precompile levels.
Before I had removed /pliant/pliant tree and /pliant/binary tree

|The .tgz files always contain Linux executables, and the .zip files always
contain executables for Windows.
So, if you want to test pre release 4 .tgz, you probably have to put in the
/pliant/binary/ directory from pre prelease 3 .zip

I have installed prerelease 78. My programs still run, but the problem with the style still remains. Actually, you may try that code that I have posted to see that a dynamic page created with a note does not maintain the style of the "calling" page.
On the other hand, I now see that in the forum, when using Mozilla, the text
wraps nicely when the line of text hits the end of the input text window.
Have you fixed that glitch in the forum regarding the listing of the most recent messages?

But when presented, the text doesn't get wrapped... That is, one would have to scroll to the right to read the message...

|Ok, reading the new code I found an obvious bug, so here is a new tarball:
On the other hand, I cannot test the styling issue myself at the moment because
I've very busy with included the enhanced security features in Pliant, including
account administration, control, and logical computers.
I plan to start reconfiguring pliant.cx in a fiew hours or days.

|Excellent. The style propagation works perfectly now.
