Discussion: Contributions outside /pliant
Contributions outside /pliant (actually /pliant/pliant)
but under pliant's root correspond to user contributions
that do not really belong to Pliant project.

|Users' contribution outside /pliant may be one of the simplest and most effective
way to share first versions of applications, wizards and so on for Pliant's
environment. Moreover, it is also a good place to put "side files", like emacs
configuration file for Pliant (thanks, Pixel !), a service file to be put
in /etc/rc.d/init.d or whatever of the same kind.
Double indexing (at least) should be available: while the path prefix should
probably correspond (in a first time) to the developer leader, it should
be possible to browse these "little applis" by keywords. Each of these
"packages" (argh, I said it!) should be downloadable as a .tgz or a .zip
PS: The reason of the "(in a first time)" is clear: some piece of code may be started
by someone and cont'd by someone else...

|Where do you suggest to put it in a Win2 tree ?

|Do you mean Win32 specific ?
Create your own tree, such as /michel.mendez.name/ then do what ever you want

|Basically, anybody should be allowed to post patches that create a new tree
(either using one Internet domain you own, our your name followed by .name)
and have these applyed on edge.pliant.cx and automatically packed by pliant.cx
with each new release.
Also it may take some time to iron it out, you can start to post patches right
