|Based on the feedback sent to me by students and colleagues who once installed
Pliant, it seems that it is of general opinion that the installing messages need
some new wording, because they are somewhat misleading. Some have actually
stoped the installation afraid that they where doing something wrong. Eventually,
however, they end up doing the write thing.
I am refering specifically to the message
'Could not find computer name in Pliant configuration database.
Please configure it through the HTTP server,
then reexecute Pliant installation script.'
A better message would be:
Your computer name is not stored in the Pliant configuration database.
If you want you can configure it through the HTTP server,
then reexecute Pliant installation script.
Or something alike.
